Hummingbird Sensing Technology sensor selected for Operating Room fire prevention system

Hummingbird Sensing Technology has joined forces with George Mason University to provide a fire prevention solution for operating rooms. The Paracube Sprint sensor was chosen by the University’s Senior Design final year student group, The Firefighters.

The Sprint sensor is the world’s smallest fast response Paramagnetic O2 sensor, with a wide measurement range and rapid speed of response, unlike the majority of sensors on the market. It can detect 100% O2 within milliseconds, with extremely high accuracy and reliability.
