Based at our Americas Business Center in Houston, USA, Louis deals directly with customers in the Americas region, helping them to integrate our OEM sensing solutions into their product designs and ensuring that they achieve the results they expect.
With 26 years of experience working at Hummingbird and its parent company Servomex, he has a deep knowledge of Hummingbird’s sensing technologies and their capabilities, allowing him to apply a consulting approach that’s of real benefit to customers.
Louis’ experiences mean he can view things from the perspective of the customer, and understand what they are trying to accomplish at the other end of the process. He also has a strong understanding of the Americas markets, regulations, and compliances.
Based at our UK Technical Centre, Scott manages the global sales team and is directly responsible for the European, Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEA) sales region.
With an extensive background in electronics, he has worked for medical device manufacturers in South Africa, Europe, and the UK, so fully understands the requirements and levels of service that our customers require.
Scott has an intimate knowledge of Hummingbird’s technologies and products, and a strong understanding of global markets. He can offer customers in both the medical and industrial sectors the necessary technical support in order for them to integrate our products into their devices, tailoring his advice to individual client needs.
Masaki is focused on assisting our customers in the Japan and Korea region, providing professional technical support for their projects, and helping them to achieve the performance and budget they require.
After graduating from an engineering college, he worked as a field engineer, R&D engineer, system engineer, and technical executive at a leading Japanese medical manufacturer. He has been part of the Hummingbird team for the past five years.
This background allows him to provide expert advice on the integration of our sensors to medical manufacturers. He also has a strong capability to provide technical support to industrial customers, as well as leading product sales.
A Hummingbird team member for almost ten years, Lisa serves our customers in the China region, ensuring our OEM sensing solutions integrate seamlessly into their designs, delivering the expected product performance.
After achieving a degree in Automatic Engineering, Lisa worked for a major sensor company, accumulating useful sales experience in Europe and China, before joining Hummingbird in 2011.
Lisa works closely with our medical and industrial customers throughout their project development processes. Acting as a bridge between the customer and supplier, she has a strong knowledge of our clients and their markets, and is adept at proving the advice they need to find the right solution.
A member of the Hummingbird team for more than 30 years, Martin leads the business unit, delivering products and services that ensure our OEM customers will continue to excel in their chosen field.
Based in our UK Technical Centre at Crowborough, he graduated from Southwark University with a degree in Electrical Engineering & Solid-State Physics before joining Hummingbird’s research and product engineering department.
Martin then moved into the customer-focused applications role, going on to manage the Americas OEM business, global marketing and sales management, and eventually taking on the leadership of the entire Hummingbird business unit, ensuring it continues to provide the high-performance solutions our customers demand.
A vastly experienced engineer who has been part of our team for 31 years, Christopher ensures that our product portfolio meets the technical and commercial needs of our customers, dealing directly with clients in the medical and industrial sectors.
With engineering experience in both the Royal Navy and British Gas, he has held a variety of roles in Hummingbird and Servomex, and is uniquely positioned to influence the technical direction that Hummingbird takes with any future development programs by engaging with and understanding the Voice of the Customer.
His extensive knowledge of the market and the capability of our products, along with a detailed insight into future developments, help to ensure that Hummingbird always provides the best possible solutions for our customers.
Based at our UK Technical Centre in Crowborough, Alex provides technical assistance to customers and investigates any field failures. He also performs type-testing of new products and provides technical literature.
A highly experienced member of the team, he has been at Hummingbird for 15 years, following 17 years at our parent company Servomex, beginning as a trainee test technician before moving to industrial engineering and material control.
His involvement at the front end of new products, including type-testing and manufacturing implementation, enables Alex to obtain a deep understanding of their capabilities. This allows him to support customers in implementing our technologies, and provide technical assistance as and when required.
Operating at the forefront of our transducer research, Claus is an experienced engineer who leads the development of new products and solves any technical issues for existing Hummingbird sensors.
Graduating with a degree in Electronics in 1994, he joined Servomex and worked as an electronics and software engineer for 17 years before moving into the research department. He was awarded an MSc in Physics from UCL in 2016, and joined the Hummingbird team two years ago.
Based at our UK Technical Centre, Claus is focused on ensuring that Hummingbird continues to deliver state-of-the-art transducers to customers for current and new projects alike.
