Crowborough, UK – Hummingbird Sensing Technology has achieved an analytical industry first with the launch of the Hummingbird Paracube Modus: the world’s first highly vibration resistant Paramagnetic oxygen sensor, designed specifically for integration into transportable analytical equipment.
Built on Hummingbird’s proven Paracube platform, which integrates Hummingbird’s world-leading magneto-dynamic paramagnetic oxygen sensing technology into a highly compact, RoHS-compliant sensor optimized for OEM integration, the Modus represents the first time this reliable, non-depleting technology has been developed for transportable analytical applications that require precise oxygen measurements.
Martin Cox, Market Sector Manager – Sensing Technologies, Hummingbird, explains: “Our customers identified the need for an oxygen sensor that can continue to offer a precise oxygen measurements during transport or environments that are prone to vibration. Hummingbird’s engineers responded with a technically advanced and innovative design specifically developed and integrated to meet the challenging conditions of the applications.
